PRIME MINISTER JENS STOLTENBERG VISITS HITRA!
This past summer the Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg and his sons visited Hitra. Mr.Stoltenberg is an eager sport-diving enthusiast and spent part of his summer vacation diving in the crystal clear waters of Hitra. Our dive partner and owner of Havsport; Kaj Sjøli guided the prime minister and friends to some fantastic dives. A coffee and waffle break at Dolmsundet Marina after some spectacular dives in perfect surroundings.

Jens Stoltenberg had this to say about Hitra:

"This area and this island is an underestimated vacation and recreational area. Here you can find fantastic beautiful nature above water and under water. On one of my dives I caught a big Monkfish. We collected clams, crabs and in the evenings we cooked many delicious dinners from of our own catch!

Dolmsudet Marina is situated right next to Vættastrumen and Storstraumen. The Vættastraumen current has a depth of 15 meters and is characterized as a very safe and impressive dive with amazing flora and fauna an large amounts of different species of fish.

At Dolmsundet and the surrounding area you can experience incredible drift dives, wreck dives, nature and hunting dives. Vi offer dive guides, air and boat transport to the dive sites.
